Mind on Madras!

I'm back from what was one helluva good time in Madras - and I can't help but wish I was still there. My year began there - and I think I said before my NYO8 couldn't have been better... and then the weekend again made me fall back in love with the city! Oh yes I loved a boy from the city - and may be that's why I’ve had a thing for this sultry city! Even the humidity can’t take that away! It’s funny coz it will probably always be my city of love – thanx to the One – whenever I drive in and around his neighbourhood I can’t help but wonder if he’d show up around a corner – tho’ he’s a gazillion miles away! Strangely Story No. 2 and Story No. 3 are from there too – not that I’ve ever met them there – so they don’t count really!

Anyway, back to the weekend that was! Penny Lane and her Lover are getting married – I’ll play her song @ the end of this post! Saturday’s pre-wedding party was themed the 60’s and PL and Lover looked sooper coolio! So did the rest of us if I may say so! I wish I could’ve stayed there all week. Today’s their Sangeet – and I’m really going to miss watching the gang take it away with Khajra Re!! Especially My Rat & Snoop! I’m glad I got to catch a bit of the action in the short while I was there. I thought and hoped and prayed that I could go back on Thursday for the beach wedding, but it doesn’t look possible with a house full of family here with me for the week – absolutely shitty timing really!
