While Boss is away this Tart will play!

Part Deux

Told you so... been spending the day faffing! The festivities have begun and no one's in the mood for work ... and we have 3 more days before our office gets a holiday. Half the team is already on leave! The other half are eating chocolates we got from clients/associates! Bring em on!!!

So here's another interesting site I landed on... Yahoo! Time Capsule

I've burried a million boxes in our school field, and I doubt I'll ever go back to undig 'em! So this obviously got my attention! Banana its something that'll warm the cockles of your heart, for sure! (snort!!)

While Boss is away this Tart will play!

Part I

Came across The Bubble Project via Mathatheist's blog. This is such fun, I hope he never comes back!!!

Seems like there's gonna be a lots more rubbish coming up here... I can feel the blogger being unleashed! Thats what happens when these buggers @ work block MSN, Orkut, and ...hold your breath for this - gmail!!! I'm still in shock...

My body aches!

I've just had the most fun work trip in a very long time - and now I feel like I used to feel after school trips... the cameraderie, the nerves, the ultimate aim to be the best - and do your best, all in all the complete madness - and in the end missing the entire experience when its all over! Half my office just spent 3 crazy days in Hyderabad to launch one of our projects. We spent 3 sleepless nights with our counterparts from Hyderabad & Bombay, our clients, the event managers, the PR team, and one big bunch of crazy Spaniards - and a lot of drinks to bring us all together like one big happy family! Needless to say I had a fantastic time!!!

After the event was over, instead of spending a depressed weekend in Bangalore, moping around the house, I decided to stay on in Hyderbad with my bestest pal Mrs. Tote, and the wonderful Mr. Tote (in case he drops by here, ever, and feels LOP!)

Hyderabad was good fun. I spent 3 more days doing random things - Iftar parties @ Tote's in-laws! Baby sitting and basically having a blast with Bilal & Urair the cutest 5 & 3yr old brats I've ever met! We spent one "I have no words for it" afternoon @ Snow World - truly, no words... But smells, yes ... Stinky gloves, damp jacket... Oh ya & oversized gum boots! I think the kids were also in a state of shock... Cold shock seemed to have been the strategy!!! We laughed a lot tho, at ourselves and eachother in our Snow World Gear!!! I tried my best to make a sorry ass snow man coz that was the only thing Urair was interested in!

The nights were spent getting mellow with a lot of whisky - wherever we went - Random Herbal Life couple's place - where we got great kebabs!! At Nikki & Nishant's place, saving my drinks from Rufus - their cuddle obsessed lab! At Touch - a swanky nightclub with shocking pink lighting! And back at home!

Yesterday I tried my hand at golf for the first time in my life. The reason this is weird, is because Ra - one of the oldest friends (I remember hanging out with from Class III), has been India's #1 Amateur Golfer, and is presently kicking ass all over the Asian Tour!!!! I've done silly things with his golf equipment, but haven't EVER swung a club! Anyway, I had a lot of fun at the driving range yesterday - but today my body is sore!! My fingers are sore... My waist is sore... My arms are sore... And there's more aches and pains as I get on with the day!!!

But there's one thing getting me through this day ...our new Worldspace thingy @ Work.... Wooohooo!!!!

This whole blogs about me anyway...

Ok, I've been avoiding this for long enough, but everyone else has been so good with responding to the Tag that the guilt got to me!!! And if I don't, Sac will never respond to all the crappy things I usually pass around! I'm also running out of people to tag! So here goes - 8 things I haven't blogged about before:

1. The last song I listened to before I was wheeled into surgery was Gin Soaked Boy. It reminded me of all the goodtimes we've had at EXIM HOUSE! It calmed me down and kept me smiling!

2. As much as I'd love to be a wildlife-wise person, after spending a weekend in the jungle I must admit I'm crap at it - literally! All we managed to do was identify animal poo!

3. I've been having strange dreams about my sister's baby - in my dreams she's already full grown - but like a baby!!!! Anna says it must've been a delayed reaction of the anasthesia!

4. I love cooking... I don't think I've ever said this on my blog. Which I now find strange - coz I really enjoy my time in the kitchen - and I can't believe I haven't said it before! I enjoy experimenting with flavours - Indian and non-Indian - and sometimes this can be disastrous! But my signature dish with my homies is Beef Stroganoff... My Mum's Style, which is YUM compared to some rip-off BS I've tasted at The Only Place & Casa's! I would however like to taste an authentic Russian Stroganoff sometime soon.

5. I can't sleep without the fan on. I can't sleep with a night lamp on! And the orange light on the All Out mosquito repellant drives me MAD! Now I have the coolest blind eye mask things in the world - it has little pouches that don't let any light in between my nose & eyes!

6. On my first day of school I (age 3yrs.) was made to sit on the Blue Box - an old wooden trunk painted navy blue - a.k.a the seat of punishment! I'm sure this thought gives my sister a lot of hope as far as Aaliyah's concerned!

7. I never travel without my swimsuit - regardless of the place or purpose of the journey! 2 & a half weeks after the operation I was in the pool with my niece! I've also been swimming in an outdoor pool in the rain in Dharamsala (HP) with the Himalayas as a backdrop! Needless to say I froze my "what & alls" off!

8. My Doctor says it'll take atleast 6 months for me to go through an entire day without a single thought of surgery/tumour/ stitches/ hospital! That’s less time than it took to get through a day not thinking of my office romance!

Ok, I don't know when or where or who started this tag, but 8 things was just a strange number - why not 10 or 5 or a dozen, or 43 things!??! Anyway, fuck that, I'm changing the tag a bit for the sake of a twist - 1 thing for every year you've been on the Planet! Here you go - Boomsa, Ostrich, Iquew, & Beks. Come ON people!!! One of you atleast!!! Doesn't mean 1 thing about each year... Tho I'll save that for another time!
